Rain... tears of the sky... why do the clouds cry today? Kaedo thought.
He ran dashing into the nearest shelter he could find in this desolate town. He ran inside into a cardboard box. He shook himself dry, placed his sword next to him and laid down. He was tired and sore from all the running he did. Ever since the government decided to hunt down people like him, all they have been doing is running. He wasn't even a person per say, he was a wolf. A wolf with amazing abilities who just wanted to live life his own way. He knew he wasn't alone, but everywhere he went he found no one like him. He felt lonelier and lonelier...
People he though he cold trust turned on him, friends and family. His past still haunted him like it did yesterday, and they day before that and so on. His heart filled with such dark emotions, God only knows if there's a hint of trustfulness in there. He lay there, breathing softly to avoid suspicion. Though he still needed a lot of oxygen, he made a little flower grow next to him. A red and white scarlet flower, just like the ones at home. It helped him remember good times, and let him fall asleep without crying. He laid there, fallen asleep into a realm of subconscious everyone holds so dear.
Dreams... my only escape from this horrid world.

A blond teen ran through the rain, attempting to find a place to hide. "Man I hate rain... why does it have to exist..." he said. He hated all kinds of water, but only because he was related to fire. He was a gifted, experimented on by the government, but managed to escape. Now he was hiding, searching for others of his kind... so far, no luck. He stumbled into a town, and attempted to find a building that actually had a roof. Eventually, he saw something - a cardboard box with a sword barely sticking out. "That's interesting, maybe I can add another to my collection." He walked up, reaching out to grab it, until he noticed what else accompanied it. "WOAH! A wolf!" he said, jumping back, but then slowly walking forward to get a closer look.

Wolfs... friends... family... slashes.... on coming... blood ridden flowers... left behind...
Kaedo didn't wake up with a exaggerated expression, he's had that dream more than enough times. Instead he opened his eyes and to look at a blond boy staring at him.
He doesn't seem to be with the government... but he's not normal... is he gifted?
He simply stared blankly into the boy's eyes, wondering what he was going to do.

"Hey, are you ok? Well, if you can understand me..." Mike said, getting up close to the cardboard box, and reaching out a hand to the wolf.

What does he want me to do... lick it?
Kaedo thought about biting it for a second but, that'll draw unwanted attention. Kaedo picked his head up and began to lick the boy's hand in a gentle manner.
